Classroom of the Future at Yewlands Secondary School, Sheffield
The project was one of a number of government sponsored pilot projects exploring more innovative approaches to the design of classrooms. It is a self-contained new build addition to an existing secondary school, contained beneath a distinctive barrel vaulted roof. It provides a novel working environment for students within the design and technology department. It was developed in close consultation with students and staff, in particular with deputy head teacher, John Innes.
